I don't think we plan on synthesis. Mostly, I just want to be able to
push an MP3 through, and use that audio stream to drive Fluxus bits.

That looks great. I received another note off-list that mentioned
qjackctl, which I didn't realize was the tool to use. I'll give these
a go today.
