fixed - this would also have affected some other state variables.

well, this turned out to be interesting, and solved another problem. for
those wondering where the plane had gone from (draw-plane), it was inside
the (draw-cube) cube ;) ... fixed

I've also fixed hint-points for polygonal objects, and the points now take
their colour from wire-colour so maybe it needs a new name...
