Ah, that makes a lot of sense. So are the existing tempo, bpb and
bpm-mult variables unimplemented?

Hmm, yes I think I could work out the scala import. I already have the
base functions written (for RTcmix) so it would just be a matter of
parsing the scala files. I'll work on it.
