i'm happy to hear it works. i'm also getting these messages, but apart 
from that it works fine.

> RtMidiIn::cancelCallback: no callback function was set!
this is not really a problem, i was lazy to store if a callback was set 
previously.

> ALSA lib seq.c:4014:(snd_seq_event_input_feed) poll: Interrupted system call
> RtMidiIn::alsaMidiHandler: unknown MIDI input error!
i have no idea what this is. although it does not seem to cause any 
problems for me. i'm going to try to fix it somehow later.
