hmm, it doesnt seem to work, i tried it in the range of 1000 to 90000
and the cursor remains invisible in the borders

the same font yes, i was going to try to build and test in the chroot
32bit to confirm its a 64 bit issue, but ran out of time, my wife is
requesting my presence elsewhere, anyway im gonna test this later.
