Hi gabor,<br><br>I tried what you said and it doesn't change anything. Is there any way I can determine exactly what active ports exist and what they're called on OSX? That seems to be the only possible culprit, since Jack works otherwise, my audio hardware works otherwise, and the names of these ports are the only variables I'm unsure on.<br>

i'm using jack from ports, so it might not be relevant in your case, but in osx 10.4 i had to make a new aggregate device with audio midi setup and connect fluxus like this:<br>
(start-audio "coreaudio:Aggregate Device:out1" 2048 44100)<br>

in osx 10.5 it's<br>
(start-audio "system:capture_1" 2048 44100)<br>

you can list the active jack ports using jack_lsp.<br><font color="#888888">
