Get the source from the Git repository at Savanah.org;
http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/fluxus/

Fluxus should build on your OSX system. From there on you'd isolate
the part(s) you need and strip out the Scheme stuff, replacing it with
your own Ruby system. It is quite stable and modular. This would be a
big job, but not nearly as big as doing all of it on your own, I
think.
