[Fluxus] Key events

Hi all,

 

Is there a way in fluxus to independently capture key events such as
key-press, key-down, key-up?, I am trying to implement a play/pause button
in an animation and could not find anything like this on the fluxus manual.
I am wondering if this needs to be done manually using (key-pressed)
function.
