Hey Evan
here on my university is the other way around, we only have linux on the
machines and a teacher required windows to run quartus from altera(which
now has a linux version and isnt required anymore), what they
have done is run windows on a virtualbox, couldnt you do the same for
fluxus but with a ubuntu virtualized instead (you would need to install
virtualbox plugins for gl stuff i think)? (i wouldnt mind asking for
a dual boot as it could be more troublesome for windows admins)
fluxus on windows could be an option for students to run on their own
machine at home initially at least.
hope you can install it, these lab machines usually have a lot of spare
space locally.
cheers,
Glauber.
