you need to use a .gdbinit file to be able to debug fluxus with gdb:

handle SIGSEGV nostop noprint
handle SIG33 nostop noprint pass
handle SIG32 nostop noprint pass

there is a known problem with fft buffer size less then 255, but maybe
this happens also with 256. please let us know if the problem persists
after changing the buffer size to 1024.
