are you using the latest git version or the 0.15 release? if the former,
could you check your config.log, please? you can find the liblo function
test in the .sconf_temp directory. it's conftest_16.c on my machine, but
it can be different on yours.

the function was not properly tested earlier, but i believe it was fixed
with this commit:
