Had the same problem on Ubuntu 7.10.
I've upgraded to 8.10. Like Gerry said. Problem is still there.

I've tried to copy the file manually, but it's already in 
/usr/share/fluxus-0.14/material/fonts/

I've also created a /debian/fluxus/usr/share/fluxus-0.14/ etc... folder 
with the font in it and it doesn't solve this problem either.

I'm just waiting for Artem to post an update ;-) or maybe, in the end, 
I'll compile fluxus myself :-)
