and after having removed that reference:

Source `modules/scheme/scratchpad-boot.ss' not found, needed by target
`/usr/lib/plt/collects/fluxus-0.14/scratchpad-boot.ss'.  Stop.

(the actual file seems to be called scratchpad-boot.scm)
