[fluxus] Slow frame rate in 64-bit Ubuntu

Incidentally - the reason that the cubes were flashing in the previous
thread was that they were clipping horribly: basically the transform was
appropriate for 16 cubes, and there were 256 being made - as such, they were
overlaying, and there were some clipping issues.
