ok, yeah, just remembered you'd tried them already - going round in
circles :)

so regarding:

scons: *** Source `/opt/local/lib/libguile-ltdl.a' not found, needed by
target `fluxus'.  Stop.

I take it a scons -c first doesn't help? looks like something doesn't pick
up the fact you've updated.
